PAM provide wayfinding services to some of the biggest sporting events in the world including the PGA Tour, Formula 1, and Australian Open, along with a large number of the world’s biggest stadiums including Hard Rock Stadium and Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium.
The PAM maps will be available on the One New Zealand Stadium website and the venue’s mobile application, which will be released next month.
Venues Ōtautahi Chief Executive Caroline Harvie-Teare said the wayfinding platform would make it easier for fans to plan their journey to the stadium.
“One New Zealand Stadium is going to provide experiences like no other venue in the country, so it is important we make the journey to the stadium as seamless as possible. The PAM maps not only help our guests find the best and safest route to the venue but also ensures they are able to find their way around the stadium to their nearest toilet, or locate where their favourite food vendor is located.”
The maps also include filters to highlight accessible routes to ensure everyone can move around the Stadium with ease.
“Our goal is to completely remove the friction from live events,” Sarah Hadlee, Global Operations Manager at PAM said. “By partnering with One New Zealand Stadium, we are transforming how fans interact with the district. It’s not just about getting people to their seats; it’s about connecting them to the energy of the precinct, the local vendors, and the community in a way that feels completely effortless and highly personalised.”
The maps will be adapted to reflect the events at the venue meaning they suit sports, concerts and business events alike.
The maps provide real-time data to assist the event operators identify any potential bottlenecks and optimise the location of activations at the venue.
The first version of the maps is available now on the One New Zealand Stadium website. The first event mode map will be live during the week of Super Round.
